Wow, not a great situation... The Envoy didn't come with any warranty at all? Most states have a 'Lemon' law, and part of that law requires them to offer a warranty (with exceptions).

Looking over the list of replaced items, some aren't what I would consider 'major' - the wipers, air filter and headlight bulbs - although I would have made sure the wipers and air filter were at least serviceable before you picked it up. The tire could have ben anything (something you hit on the road, allignment, etc.), so that's hard for me to comment on. Recalls typically have to do with safety/longevity issues, not running problems, so I'm not surprised performing the recall didn't fix anything.

I don't feel like anything I've said has been helpful, but your post leaves a lot of questions in my mind. Where is this 'electrical' issue? Is this related to the poor running? Has the dealer refused to fix it for you? Have they told you what the actual problem is?

number 1 question did you buy your vehicle from a GM dealer? If it runs like crap it could be because it was not maintained from who had it last? I hear the sob stories all the time, As far as the electrical problems the only problems I see with the Envoy is ignition swithes. If you are raising two children and a sister it sound to me like you at 24 yrs old are a spoiled brat, I am in my late 30's and cant even think about affording a Envoy!!! Live with your expenses and quit cryin!!

I bought a 2003 Envoy new and it caused me nothing but problems. Forget about talking to the dealer. Start with your state's "lemon law" and be persistent. Some states have an arbitration board that deals with vehicle problems. Also, write directly to GM. My persistence paid off and GM actually allowed me to trade it for a new 2004 model. It took a lot of effort on my part and an appointment with the arbitration board but it was worth it. The 2004 Envoy has been a great car with no problems.
