Hi,
This happens when we walk for a long time or due to the sweat from the foot while wearing shoes or sandals. The best medicine for it is wash your feet as soon as you reach home. Prepare a lukewarm water, add some mild shampoo to it and soak your feet for 10 minutes. Dry the feet with towel and apply some moisturizing cream. This will take care of the itching.

1. Many people are allergic to nylon. If the carpet is made of nylon and if you walk bare feet, you could get itchy feet.
Similarly nylon underwear cannot be used by people who are allergic to nylon.
If so , you have to avoid contact with Nylon.
2. The athlete’s foot fungus can definitely make your feet itch.
If you have athlete’s foot and your feet itch, then careful hygiene and the regular use of anti-fungal creams and powders can cure you.
These are just two reasons.

My husband suffers from itchy feet, which he puts down to Athlete's Foot. So the measures that he takes are:
1) Use Athlete's Foot cream, from the pharmacy, whenever feet are itchy.
2) Dry your feet thoroughly after a shower and always wash and dry your feet after exercise.
3) Only wear cotton or wool socks, 50% cotton socks have polyester in them which make your feet sweat and creates conditions in which bacteria and fungus can breed.
4) Only use cotton bed-sheets. Easy-care and poly-cotton sheets will also make your feet sweat and create breeding conditions for bacteria and fungus.

You could have a form of athlete's foot. I would try an athlete's foot cream or even Gold Bond cream.

If there is no obvious infection (like athlete's foot) it could be an allergic reaction to something. Tried anything new lately (food, lotion, socks)?
