I have bumps on my thighs. The bumps form where my hair grows and the hair seems like it's suck under the bumps. They are all over my thighs except for the inside. Can it be genetic or is it because Im Afican American or what.

I am not sure if you have or not but if you do, it could be folliculitis. African Americans are more at risk when shaving because thier hair is so curly so when the hair starts to grow back, it curls underneath the skin and then you get those bumps. That is why they say you shuold shave in the direction of the hair growth.

Sounds like ingrown hairs. Try exfoliating with a dry brush to coax the hairs out.

you have to try to remove these hairs before they become infected first of all. then maybe you should try having your legs waxed to try to reduce the number of ingrown hairs. it is normal for ALL of us to get ingrown hairs and its nothing tooo serious for you to worry about
