The assumption here is that the room is fairly full, you're in a conversation and don't want to appear rude to excuse yourself for a little irritation, but the wedgie is irritating you to no end.

thats a good question. sit down and shift your weight and itll be fine. if theyres someone checking you out, excuse yourself, and go to the restroom. heyy remember, everyone has faulty underwear and everyone knows this. no one usually ever notices and if they do, they should understand. would anyone acutally point at someone and say haha they have a wedgie? no. cause theyd be the one who looks dumb. so if you can do it unnoticeably thats great. good luck at the next party.

At my last party I pulled pants and underware down around my ankles, nobody even suspected I had a wedgie. Got four phone numbers out of it too.

Squat with your knees apart while sitting on an ottoman, or be super cool and hike one leg up on a chair. Just pretend it's your highly confident body language.

For me this is an issue of "preventive maintenence". Before I involve myself in a "party situation", I remove my underware.

go up agaisnst a wall and pick at it casually no one will notice. i do it all the time.
