Something that will not attract attention -- if you could wear it to a job interview, it's fine at a funeral. No running shoes, sandals, flip-flops, crocs -- nothing very casual or sporty.

Dark coloured pumps (shoes w/ just enough heel to not be flat but not a high heel either). No sandals, sneakers, flipflops or outrageously coloured pumps.
