Help Please! About 6 Months. ago I tried a cheap liquid eyeliner, But all it did was dry like paint & ripped off the lashes. now my eyes look totally uneven, but I try to cover it by using more liner. I haven't let my house in 2 mnths. Too insecure. Do false lashes work? or can you tell they're fake?

The only real cure for this is time, but not to worry, eyelashes are constantly falling out and being replaced by new ones. Do be careful always to clean off your eye makeup gently, as this will prolong the health and life of your lashes (and the skin around your eyes, too).

I wouldn't recommend false eyelashes as you run the risk of having the glue rip out more lashes. They don't look fake if carefully applied, but that is a time-consuming procedure.

The good news is, the new mascaras that come with primers are excellent for making lashes look thicker and fuller. I love XXL (forget who...Revlon?). The difference is HUGE.

Also, an eye pencil in the same colour as your mascara helps create an illusion of thicker, fuller lashes by visually filling in the spaces between lashes. In other words, it looks like your lashes are so thick your eyelids can't be seen. Don't go nuts with this--no half-inch stripes if you're trying for a natural look! And remember to smudge. You could also try a fairly dark eyeshadow to contour your eyes, to aid in the illusion.

Hope this helps. I'd like you to be able to leave the house again!

Dont use false lashes... either use a volumizing mascara and'or try using an eyeliner brush to apply a dark powder shadow (brown or charcoal..more natural than black) to each upper eye lid. Make sure the line is thick and smudgy which adds more depth than one that's skinny. Then dampen the brush and using a stamping motion, layer a thinner line over the first line. Repeat on your bottom lids and finish with a coat of the volumizing mascara.

you can use mascara!

try MAX Factor Volume Couture along with MAX Factor Lash Perfection. [$7 a piece]

The Volume Couture volumizes and the Lash Perfection lengthens

or you can use DiorShow mascara [$23] that is like both MAX Factors put together!

You can also try false lashes! to make them look more real, you can but a coat of mascara over them.

Don't you dare use fake lashes! They'll mess things up even more. I heard if you put Vaseline on your eyelashes before you go to bed they become thicker? And eat lots and lots of calcium (it makes your hair grow, so it will probably do the same for eyelashes no?)

Use a false lash. Try different lengths and find a pair that look natural.
