Skin color is not an issue. He obviously finds you beautiful and attractive if he wants to marry you. You have an emotional and physical bond with eachother, and if he really finds that its an issue. Get him to go tanning, so you guys match lol... dont stress over it.. its nothing lol

Have a nice day<3

For most people, when they talk about skin color, they are referring to race or ethnic background, which is linked to skin color. You're talking more of a cosmetic issue- so in many ways you're talking about attraction based on a cosmetic issue. If he says he's ok with your tan, accept it and why look for issues? If you feel that insecure of his motives, reconsider if you want to marry him.

If you're about to get amrried what does it matter that you have a tan. Is he afraid that you might look black or something? If that's his only complaint then I think that you should thin about it before you guys take that walk down the aisle.
