Hi, I'll write something about me now and I'd be very pleased if someone could tell me what I've to do better.

Hi, my name's Christian, I'm from Germany, 16 years old, I'm interested in Yahoo Clever, Football(you call it soccer) and watching DVD's. I'm living in a small town in Bavaria, I'm wondering why so many people (often English people) think everyone drinks bear and eats sausages every day, thats wrong;-). It only gives this tradition when the Octoberfest starts, many people visit Munich then, from all over the world.
My favourite soccer team is the VfB Stuttgart, most of the players are under 25, we're the youngest team in Germany, and one of the youngest in Europe.
On tv I often watch American shows, I really like Monk,Dr. House and CSI Miami (and Las Vegas, but Miami is much better) and, yes, Desperate Housewifes. My favourite bands are Seeed (search for them on youtube, they're good) and Flathead, the song which comes in the I-pod spot on tv.

Hi Christian, you are doing great. I am german and live in California since 1995. Most people think right away about Bier and Bratwurst and Sauerkraut when I tell them I am from Germany. My son's friends call him Kraut (not negative). It's just like a german trade mark. A lot of americans were stationed in Germany with the army and when they came home, they talked about beer, sausages e.t.c. The beer and sausage consume here in USA is very high...hot dogs or hamburgers which we call Frikadellen. Ich bin von Leverkusen und war ein fan von Bayer Leverkusen. In meiner Zeit war die Mannschaft sehr gut, zweiter or dritter Platz.

Tschuess, keep up the good english.

Asking on Yahoo Answers isn't really the best way to learn English, considering how many, many users don't even know how to use their own language properly. What I would suggest is searching for an international penpal program online and seeing what they have to offer.
