LOADS of ppl i know wear them.....but its kinda become a fashion thing. My church gives them to the sunday school kids with sweets after the lessons. In South Africa where many schools are very strict on school uniform, no makeup, not jewelery etc. we are alowed to were the WWJD and FROG bracelets to school, as long as its just one.
Whether ppl just wear em for the heck of it or whetehr it actually means something to them is up to themselves.
What do u mean with would Jesus wear his beleifs on his sleeve? WWJD is not Christian beliefs, it just a little reminder to kids to be nice to each other and show respect, even if they dont think it is deserved.
It could also be a symbol for others that they are christian. I have a few of them and one of mine doesnt have something like WWJD but has the little ICHTHUS sign print on it (u know, the fish).
If i were to go to a new place and speak to someone also wearing one, i could ask them if they are Christian and know that we have something in common, so its not as akward, lol. Other than that, i dont have much use for them cos i have God's word written on the tablets of my heart and carry them with me, if im wearing a bracelet or not.

I remember seeing them in a store as a kid in my pre-Christian days. No, it's mostly just the old people who keep quoting it (I'm really tired of the phrase, it's a good thought but the people using it need to follow through. Talk is cheap.) He didn't need to wear his beliefs on His sleeve, they were in His heart and He lived them through His actions.

I certainly do remember them. A lot of the gang members in my class wore those and on their other arms were their gang tatoos. Yep... wouldn't Jesus approve of the activities of the Bloods and the Crips?

I remember, but the way I see it, when I got saved, I received the Holy Spirit, and dont need a bracelet to remind me what Jesus would do. when i step out of line, the Holy Spirit reminds me real quick!

I had one, but it meant something slightly different. I was a huge fan of Star Trek: Voyager. Kathryn Janeway never lost her cool, was always in control no matter what the situation. What Would Janeway Do?

I have said before that i do not know what Jesus would do, but I know what he wouldnt do. Put his name on a bracelet and sell it for profit. Did you know the guy that made those was an Atheist

I do remember. And I haven't seen one child in my school wearing one of those. The Jesus fish is still plastered on the back of many cars though.

Yes...I think it was a "fad" like Kabalah's red bracelets.
I highly doubt Jesus would. A person who truly lives his/her religion doesn't need to announce it - they just LIVE IT.
