What if I wait till the end of the school year to try and talk to her?

I think I should wait a little longer and not try to tell her anything. I just want to give her enough space.(Note-to understand the question read this-http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070313062116AAEvKJb&r=w )
Also, anyone have ideas on what I should do for her birthday? She turns 17 in two weeks and I've turned 17 last month
