My brother texted me from school asking if i would bring his contact at 3pm for his baseball practice, and i said i would. Now i keep getting ones from him asking it to be brought now. I can never get in the front door of the new school, and he's like 'its easy". but its not, its always locked when i go.

Why can't someone just wait until i told him i would be there instead of making it more complicated?

Since you already said you would bring it you should still do so. However, in the future you should remember this event and hesitate before being so willing to accomodate him, but you need to be sure you tell him why you are not going to be doing it. Sometimes people simply forget to show their appreciation of another's kindness (we all do it, we are all human). Good luck and God Bless.

You need to look at it from a few different perceptions. Let's start with how old is he? If he is younger than you, he doen't understand the way of asking and understanding yet. Is he older than you? If so he is looking to make you his slave. The other possibility is that you do it for him once, and then again, he knows you will do it no matter what. I recommend a few things. One, try telling him, once is enough. Patience is the virtue, if he can't wait, then he needs to learn to be more patient. If you are young enough and still live at home, talk to your mom or dad.

If all else fails, ignore him, not to be mean, but to show him as using this as a proactive learning mechinism to show that patience is key!

Good luck!

You need to explain to him that if he needs something from you, then he needs to meet you at the door or have a friend so you can get in. You shouldn't have to keep going through the same thing. Simply inform him that if he wants it that badly, he will be there to receive it, or he can come home and get it himself. Thank you.

Tell him when you will bring it by and stick to it. You are doing him a favor and under no obligation to do things according to his schedule.

How do you forget to put in one contact? I would have a headache.

Tell him that he should be grateful that you're willing to do his bidding. If I were in your shoes and my brother was constantly texting me, I'd tell him to go get his contacts himself.

Tell him a 'thank you' would be nice one in a while.

Don't take it to him. Next time maybe he won't forget it. Especially if he messes up at practice because he can't see.

Quit bringing him his contact. It is time for him
to become responsible. Tell him he is on his own now
and has to take care of his own responsibilities.

Tell him you'll get there when you get there. Then shut your phone off. He's lucky you're doing it to begin with. If he needs it, he'll wait. You're not his servant, stop acting like it.
