Why do family members turn on one another and steal their babies from them? Should i always hate my oldest sister for taking my oldest daughter? should i still consider her family, or should i loth her for taking her? I was a young/beginner mom, and i lost my oldest in court when my daughter was 6 months old custody and all went to my sister, she is now going to be 8 in May, this happened when she was 6 mos old, and i still loth her for taking her. Should i? I cant get over it, it drives me nuts all the time still to this day.

For one thing if your child has been well cared for and has been loved that should be the first thing that is in your thoughts, and the courts would not have given your sister custody if it were not for having good cause, so think of it like this, your child could have went to someone you didn't know and been lost to you forever, instead you have her in your life and you can watch her grow , know how she is, instead of worrying about her over the years. I think it take a good person to raise someone else's child, instead of feeling bad, why don't you forgive yourself for not being able to keep her, and thank your sister for loving your daughter enough to do what was best for her.
