If you learned from your mistakes, you need to chalk it up to experience and vow not to make the same choices again. If you improve yourself because of those mistakes than you've learned something and have made yourself a better person. In order to start feeling better about yourself go out and do something for others; volunteer at the local animal shelter, hospice, hospital, or nursing home. Volunteer to read to the blind at the library or book store. Look around your neighborhood, do any elderly neighbors need assistance (snow shoveling, cutting grass, running errands). Open your eyes and you will see! Good luck and God Bless.

I have found that you have to move on. You need closure for your mistakes. You might try reaching out to that person and apologizing for your mistakes, and ask them for forgiveness. It is easy to contact people now either through email, phone text message or a standard letter.Even if they dont connect back with you, you gave it a try. You need to also realize that people make mistakes, and usually learn by their mistakes. You have to go forward and think positive and try to put the past behind you.

At first you go on and you do feel bad. VERY bad. But as long as you keep moving and trying to get past everything one day will come where the pain lessens.
It goes slowly. Bit by bit you will think about it less and it will bother you less.
But to skip the whole painful part isn't really possible. I wish it were possible more than anything. Well I guess I wish that the guy I am in love with loved me back but failing that I wish we could all skip the pain of being heartbroken.
Try to keep busy.

Except the fact that you are not perfect and start the process of getting on with your life. Basically, it is called living with your mistakes. We all have to do it.

its called get over it. ive made alot of mistakes in the past that i regret, you just got too learn to deal with it. its life, these things are supposed to happen.. think of life without mistakes , like how boring is that? its good to make em once in a while. but if you get into alot thiking they arent bad you might start saying lies that will make it even harder and worse to deal with.

It's hard to put your mistakes behind you, especially when they've caused something like a break up or a bad incident. It's a constant reminder of failure, and it doesn't die easy.

Well we all learn from the things we hae done wrong in the past, the best thing for you is take the things you messed up on and figure out why you do the things you do.
