The cheap policies are not available in the UK, but many of the larger insurers, and some smaller ones are there, but the typical premium is higher than elsewhere in the UK.

The reason is nothing to do with riots, or the troubles.
It is actually because the court system is different from the rest of the UK, and has historically awarded higher injury compensation to accident victims, hence the cost of injury claims on motor insurance is higher. There have recently been moves to align the court system more closely with the rest of the UK, so the difference in premiums should start to reduce.

As someone who's English i'd want to assert that it is a controversy as a lot because the electorate of Northern eire. i'm proud to have them as portion of the united kingdom yet that's barely for them (the Northern Irish) to pick and no individual else. i know any such vast volume of human beings there who want to stay portion of the united kingdom inspite of the actuality that. A united eire might want to work out huge violent conflicts inspite of the actuality that between those who favor to stay British and those who want to hitch the Republic.

The reason that discalimer appears is that on UK Mainland policies there are certain conditions in relation to rioting. IN Northern Ireland rioting is much more common than the UK Mainland. The same companies insure cars, but with different policies, hence they need to put the disclaimer on.
