So my bf of a few months said "i love you" in an email recently(he was serious--he's not the type to joke about stuff like that!) and I said "I love you too" back. Tonight I am seeing him for the first time since then, and for the first time in two weeks. I really want to say it to his face if I get the chance, but I am scared he won't say it back, and I don't know how to say it! Help me!

well its ok if he doesnt say it back. when you tell someone you love them you can not always expect them to say it back. he will say it to your face when he feels it in his blood it just may take a little longer. dont stress yourself. if you feel it then say it and just be ready that he may not say it when u want him to but he will say it when he is ready.

How old are you guys? Most adult relationships do not profess their love via e-mail message. Obviously, you have doubts about his love for you, or else you wouldn't be afraid that he isn't going to say it in person.
Take it slow. What is the rush? You have your whole life ahead of you.

Let him say it first and don't get too pushy with the I love you thing. He'll say it again if he really means it, in his own time.

well my brother and his girlfriend took along time to say it, he said it to her and she didnt say it back, but then a few weeks later she said it to him and they've been together ever since.

i havea girlfriend and we say it on the e-mail all the time but at car shows we don't say it.
