Who cares.... if your not having a huge wedding and flaunting it in front of your older relatives then you can wear what EVER you want. That's the whole point of vegas!!! Get what ever dress you want... and don't worry about it.

People only comment on the white wedding dress when your having the big church wedding for the 2nd or 3rd time and think it's ok to pretend your in your 20s and want a big reception, lots of gifts and a shower. It's just the whole thing is tacky when people try to "redo" it and wear a dress that's too young for them.

It dosent matter how old you are, you can wear a white dress. Umm since you are getting married near fall, coppery reds, browns, or oranges would be a good choice. www.davidsbridal.com would be a good place to look at dresses you can choose the colors on diffrent dresses. If your more modest, look at some "mother of the bride" dress, they are really nice and come in diffrent colors, I'm considering buying a dress there for our anniversary from the "mother of the bride" selection and i'm only 21. There not "old-fashioned" either.

Wear whatever color you want, its your wedding, there is nothing wrong with a woman wearing a white dress even if she has been married before. As a former limo driver, I have seen 100's of brides in white dresses that had previously been married, so it is not all that uncommon.

Any color you want. Why does it have to be white or ivory? It doesn't. White was only introduced in the 1800s to signify that she (Queen Victoria) was wealthy and it had absolutely nothing to do with purity. Prior to that time, brides wore their best dress that they already owned which was often a jewel toned color.

First go some place like Macy's cosmetic counters, have some one there do your colors and find out what is the best for your makeup, then go to the clothing department and have a sales person help you with your colors, you will already have a good idea what colors are best for you from the person at the cosmetic counter.

Traditionally, wearing white should be for your first marriage. However, your wedding doesn't have to be traditional - it isn't set in stone anymore.

My cousin, for her 2nd marriage, did wear a white dress, but it was not a traditional wedding dress (FYI - it was her husband's first wedding, though).
Others have worn off-white, eggshell, light pink or even light blue.

You really can wear whatever you like these days.

Not wearing white because you have already been married is out. You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in!! This is the first time you are marrying your fiance, so why shouldn't you wear what you want??!!
Good luck to you, and Congratulations!!!

It doesn't matter what color you get, the dress is a minor detail of the wedding.

But, since you asked, champaign, red, cream, lavender, pink. Find a dress that looks absolutely stunning and knock the groom of his feet!

Congrats!

If you want a white dress, then wear a white dress. It doesn't matter if it's your first wedding or your tenth. It's your day, so everything should be perfect for you.

I saw a dress a while ago that was white but it had deep red flowers embroidered along the bottom. It was beautiful. Classic but a little different.
