well, supposely, cupid is a blind lil bastard who just happen 2 hav som magical arrow dat can make ppl goo goo ga ga. but hes just shoots at random so... but really its load of bullcrap

A person falls in love multiple times in life. If you weren't meant to be together, you'll still leave with something, whether that may be memories or lessons learned. You just have to go out there and wait for the right person to come.
As for the cupid part, I'm not so sure if he really exists. Personally, I wouldn't want a flying baby shooting heart-shaped arrows at me.
