the first week can be pretty rough for some dogs, but , by the second week, you could barely tell they are sore, and by the third week they are totally normal, and can return to athletic activities. .
Some of the more stoic breeds, are hard to keep quiet, even the second day! You couldn't even tell that they just had surgery!

Nothing will happen, really. I mean, I have a female dog, and they're different from males, but pretty much the same thing as a female dog. They have to have stitches and those cone things on their heads, so that they don't bite their stitches. If you need anymore advise, e-mail me at jlharris1989@yahoo.com

your dog should be pretty much back to normal the next day. The worste part is they want you to keep the quiet and that is not an easy task. they will be right back to running and jumping and playing. just keep an eye on the stitches to make sure they don't get infected or they don't try to pull them out. You can put an over the counter antibotic ointment on them to keep them from getting infected and dried out.

She will be back to normal, need to get her stitches out and
be happy that you got her spayed.
