I take 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts and place them in my crock pot. I then add a can of cream soup (can be cream of chicken, broccoli, mushroom, celery.) What ever you have on hand. I also add a can of chicken broth. I let it cook all day until it is falling apart. I then take the chicken out, shred it with two forks and return it to the crock pot and mix it around. I let it cool in the refrigerator and then give him little bits at a time. He can pick it up with his fingers. I have also added extra chicken broth and a cup of rice to the crock pot. I have also added peas. It works really well.
Good Luck!
Oh you can add any veggies that you might like because they will cook to the needed softness in the crock pot.

You can use the whole chicken. Your baby isn't on a diet. Infants actually NEED fat for the brains and bodies to grow. Boil the whole chicken, it will add needed fat to the broth and taste even better. Just watch the amount of salt you use, their little kidneys can't handle high amounts of sodium.

The breast is the best part of the chicken, just make sure it's skinless and either grilled, boiled, baked or broiled.
