to his ex just a few weeks later...i think its like the 2nd or 3rd time....my sis is getting text messages from her ex bf asking her how she is? what she is doing? how is life for her? I know his new gf would prob have fit over this if she knew...do you think this is right for my sis ex bf to be contacting her about 2x's a week under these conditions....do you think he wants to get back with her...I mean if he was so into his current gf why is he contacting my sis still?

Call him out on it. he's trying to have both of them the only way to stop it is to tell everyone. Trust me been through the crappy end once it's the way to come clean and feel better about yourself.

Hey, maybe your parents are more perceptive then you give them credit for. Did they see something "devious" about Mr. X ? Sure , he's testing the waters with sis now, as a backup. So Ms. X was a X for a reason , right? Maybe Mr. X is little to nimble in finger text thing, if you know what I mean. It's time to blow Mr. X off. Sayonara! Time to have sis change the cell no. dude. Be a good brother and set the wheels in motion. How can it hurt?

He's doing it because he's a jackass. It sounds like your parents were on the right track. If he wanted to be with her so badly, then he wouldn't have gone after his ex so quickly. He probably just wants to keep her close just in case. If he really cares then he'll let her move on too, like he obviously has. If they're meant to be, they'll hook up when she's a little older.

he's a young guy trying to "olay the game". you're sister is young...17 is nothin. she has the rest of her life to find the man out there for her. i know it hurts now, but she'll get over this guy. she needs to tell him to leave her be so she can live her life, especially since she obeyed her family's wishes and stopped dating the guy. her continuing to talk to this guy is not honoring what her family has asked of her.
