I'm an african-american woman and I've been natural for about two years (for those that don't know, no chemicals or relaxer) and I've been using Proclaim Aloe Gel but I would like to use something that creates curls or the illusion of curls. I have very thick and kinky hair so I would need something strong. Anyone have any suggestions??

Try Paul Mitchell's products. They are pricey and you can only find them at beauty salons, but they're great. Try the foaming pomade, instant detangler in the Awapuhi line. You can also go to Sally's Beauty Supply and get the generic versions if you don't want to spend the $$$$ on the real thing. Hope this helps.
