According to delivery standards outlined on the Canada Post website, regular service expedited parcels are delivered in 6-12 business days. Express post parcels take between 3-5 business days. Purolator takes about 2-3 days.

As the other person said, I am looking at it from USA to Canada. With US Postal Service, I have had some problems in the past where it has taken 4-6 weeks for something to get to me.

I buy things on eBay sometimes and the only times I had bad experiences was when USPS and Canada Post were involved. USPS sends the parcel to the border, they keep it for a while, and may open it to make sure there are no bomb supplies, illegal fruits, and such. Then they give it to Canada Post, who eventually get it to me, but then charge me a "handling fee" on top of the already hefty shipping fees I paid the sender for the postage, and along with duty that is owed (if any).

I ordered $100 worth of car care products from Liquid Glass one time and got billed $65 handling fee for a briefcase-sized parcel.

If I could suggest it, I would recommend UPS or Fedex courriers. Both companies offer services in Canada and USA, and they have their own customs brokers to get across the border. You may pay a bit more initially, but there are usually not any big surprises when it arrives at your door.

Well, I'm coming from the other point of view.. I'm from Canada and I've received packages and mail from the U.S. I think it all depends on what it being sent and your carrier. One letter of mine took a month and a half to get to me, while a small package took 2 weeks. Your best bet might be to ask about Express Delivery or such.

I sent things regularly to MD and by ground its 2 weeks, by air its about 1 to 1.5 weeks.

Its slow sending season right now, so packages tend to come quicker then normal.
