Yes. He does not fret over where you have been; he will deal with where you are at; but cares deeply about where you are going. Just let him lead; you follow as best as you can.

You're on the right track. However, how can you only believe in Jesus and not in God? In John 1:1 it reads, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Now keep in mind, Jesus is the Word in the flesh. He did not come to walk the earth and perform miracles, but to reconcile us back to Himself, through His death; leaving the Holy Spirit as our comforter. Therefore it is impossible to believe in one and not the other when they all are the same; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
But fret not, we all understand the suffering of this world is great, but God's promise is true. Our hope and joy rests in Jesus' return for He has gone to prepare us a place in our Fathers house. In our Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so Jesus would not have told us so.
So, consider that we live in this world but are not bound by this world and our hope and trust is in God (Jesus). And if we trust God in the midst of this world confusion (of the enemy) He will give you peace.

I guess you could believe in Jesus without believing in God. What is to stop you, the Mormons believe that John the Revelator is still roaming the earth, the Witnesses believe in a literal 144,000 souls that will rule in heaven, the Adventists believe that a woman in 1844 had visions from God that explained why there were no miracles on earth anymore.
You have the right to believe what you want. You will have to ignore much of the Bible though, but that never stopped any denomination.

so you can believe in God's Son but not God the Father? just because bad things happen, doesn't mean He's not there. Like in general, people blame leaders (mayors, presidents) because they didn't do anything, but they're still there.
here are 3 of the Spiritual Laws God must follow...
1) God cannot manipulate. People must have free will
2) God and sin don't mix. You want God there, sin has to go.
3) Faith is a must for His people
so God is not allowed to stop the suffering in the world unless we let Him. We have to want Him to, we have to get rid of sin, and have faith, so He can work. I.E: Abraham's case with Lot and Soddom and Gomorrah (Abraham was able to plead with God).
you can be a Christian if you want to, but you must:
1) believe God is. not just exists, but believe He is who He says he is
2) Believe Jesus, God the Son, died for your sins and accept Him as lord and Savior
3) Repent of your sins
hope that helped!

You cannot be a Christian if you do not believe in the Father of our Lord Jesus.
1John 2:22 Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, even he that denieth the Father and the Son.
You must believe the Father and the Son to be a real Christian.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Dear friend,
You believe in Jesus and yet deny his father? Suffering exist upon the earth due to the original sin of man. By sinning we had separated ourselves from God and thus brought evil and suffering. However, God uses this suffering to strengthen us and make us better people. Much like a good sword is put into the fire to become strong, so to are his people who are put through the fires of trouble so as to grow in their faith in him.
I understand it is difficult to understand right now, but God still loves you (and always will) and he wishes for you to hear his call. For he is the good Shepard. Let him come into your life and he shall bring you peace.

Jesus is God.
So if you don't believe in God because bad things happen, what do you believe about Jesus?
God does permit suffering. Look at the book of Job. He never lost his faith and look how he was rewarded. It wasn't fun for him to get where he ended up. Do you want to be like him?

You can be a Christian, and are for that matter. Even the best of the saints and profits had their doubts at one time or another. If it was for us to understand all things under God than I suppose faith wouldn't be a necessity. However, one day you may see the blessings that come from the suffering of this world and it may one day renew your faith once again.
I will pray for you.

There are at least three kinds of suffering-
1. the suffering we cause ourselves by our own sin is one. For example, if you have sex outside of marriage, and there is a pregnancy- there is suffering, but it is caused by your own sin.
2. suffering others cause us- For example, a drunk driver hits someone- that person is suffering because someone else sinned.
3. Suffering for the name of Jesus- this is where we meet opposition and hatred because we follow Jesus. This type of suffering is difficult, but is something that most Christians go through. We participate in the sufferings of Jesus.
Figure out which type of suffering you are experiencing. Is it your own sin? Then stop blaming God, and repent. Is it the sin of someone else that is causing your suffering? Then forgive them, and turn the whole thing over to God. Is it suffering for Christ? Then rejoice, for that suffering will help to make you and mold you into the image of Christ.
May the God of kindness and mercy wrap His arms around you right now, and comfort you. Lord bless!

Jesus is God incarnate meaning that he is God in human form. You can't believe in Jesus and not God because they are one in the same. There is God the head which is Jehovah, there is God the Son / the body / the flesh which is Jesus, and there's God the Holy Spirit which is God in spirit form. All three aspects of one Davine being.

Typical question... how can God allow the suffering in the world?
I think you have to ask yourself, did God create our suffering or did we bring it upon us by ourselves?
Also, God allows suffering because it's very often through suffering that many people turn to Christ and are saved.
The consequence of sin is suffering. Without suffering, no one would ever want to hear about God. People would dwell in their sins and stay that way.
Suffering also makes Christians grow in maturity and spiritual strength.
