Soft Paws are just like you putting on accrylic nails her feet may be a little sore from you having to push her nail out without her wanting too but she is fine and thank you for not declawing and using an alternative method also she may have just been letting you know that she doesn't like her feet handled just like a baby when you wipe it's mouth.

No, they don't hurt. They may take some getting used to, and the cat may be annoyed with them, but they don't hurt.
All cats scream bloody murder when you do something they don't want you to do. Soft paws, claw trimming, or just touching their paws. At least you didn't have to give her a bath! Think how she would have screamed at that.

I don't know, but I don't expect it hurts. But sometimes cats meow when they are scared of being touched somewhere and want to be left alone. For example, my cat meows like it really hurts when I clean his little but with a wipe, but he doesn't move to get loose. If he was in real pain he would try to get loose and scratch etc. Did your cat do that?
I think kibbi's answer is correct.

I've never heard or read a report of a cat acting like SoftPaws hurt.
I'm sure kitty was upset at first because she didn't like having her claws covered and didn't understand why you did that to her.
That's great that she got used to them and seems to like them! She must look really cute prancing around like little miss fashion kitty!

well i doubt it hurt the cat it was probably just upset about you holding her down and messing with her feet. cats don't like to held or bathed so i don't know why they would want to have soft paws put on their feet

I used to put them on my cat. She would cry too. I think she was sensitive to my pushing the tiny caps onto her toes. Some cats are simply sensitive to have parts of their bodies messed with.
