I like the Cessna 414. I like it because it's large and it has a lot of cabin space. It also has the pull down stairs, that's pretty cool.
Okay, so there were two penguins in a bath tub. The first penguin said to the other one, can you pass the soap. The other penguin said, what do you think I am, a type writer?
Makes no sense but it makes me laugh.

I'll take the 421 The turbo charged geared engines require a little finesse. The smoothest piston twin I've ever flown. Probably the closest thing you can get to a turboprop. Big props turn at a lower RPM so it's quieter than most piston twins.
I did like the door on the pilots side of the Navajo.
The 414 is underpowered and a nightmare on 1 engine.
The Malibu is a piston single so not comparable to the others. Nice airplane. AKA the generation II doctor killer. Instead of loosing the tail of V-tail Bonanza, a few guys pulled the wings off of their Malibu's.

Without question, the 421. Quality, performance, room, pressurization - the 421 has it all. The 414 is an attempt to make a cheaper 421 and it falls short of the real thing. I've flown the Navajo as well, and it's a tin can compared to the 421. Stupid thing has fan belts to drive the alternators, for crying out loud. Break a belt, pull a prop to replace it. You want pressurization, you have to find a Navajo P, and they had problems with those. Malibu isn't in the same class. Apples and oranges. Once you learn how to fly those GTSIO-520s, anything else is just ---less.

If I really wanted a twin, it would be the Cessna 421. Looks better then the others, and has very good performance and comfort. However, personally I do like the Piper Malibu a lot. Single engines have an eas of opperation to them.

I prefere the Piper Navajo. I've always like Piper's aircrafts better than Cessna. (probably just a bias since I started my flight training on a Piper Cherokee).
