God is waiting for us to save ourselves. That's why we're here - to choose salvation.
You can make this choice yourself at any time, that's the message that Jesus brought.
All you need to do is Love all of God's Creation the same way He Loves You.

Well... first God would have to have some kind of relationship with human beings. Since he doesn't... it probably won't happen. Do yourself a favor. Read up on existentialism and realize that the world sucks BECAUSE people keep waiting for God, rather than taking responsibility for their own actions.
Besides which, I agree with Anardri... the world is not all that bad. The population is larger, so it seems worse. But there's a lot less killing as a whole, and a lot more kind people. If we could do away with churches, we'd be golden!

obvious even worst because they don't have a clue. The world is blinded and then will get mad when you try to show light in their dark world. I know I get too mnay hate emails, so if they can think it's okay to live life the way they are, then it should show them right there, there's a need for a Savior. I see why God made longsuffering a fruit. Sitting on Earth trying to show love is hard without the help of God.

"But this gospel will be preached as a witness to all the world as a witness to all nations, then the end will come." I believe it's in Matthew 24:12? May I suggest you visit this website:http://www.ucg.org/booklets and scroll down the list of booklets offered. They are free, no one will contact you, you won't be asked for money, EVER, and there is a wealth of info that will help you understand why the world is -the way it is -and specifically what has to happen before Christ returns to save us.

Hell on earth would be a paradox, but this isn't English class...
Only Christians (and small children) are going to disappear from this Earth supernaturally. And btw, times are coming that it'll be a lot worse.....
read Daniel, thesselonians (I think) and revelations. or watch the movie Left Behind.

It cant be that bad. Its not like every person on every square mile on Earth is involved with genocide. Yeah, perhaps the war, peoples moral, and other things contribute to the evil in the world but it does not seem as bad as the times of the bible. If anything, God should have returned centuries ago when humans acted like barbarians!

God is much more patient than we are. He wants the maximum number of people to be saved. He "wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" 1 Timothy 2:4.
Pray for the lost world. There are still billions of people who have never heard of Jesus-Christ.

A better question might be "how bad does this world need to get before we realize no god is coming down to save us, and actually start trying to make things better?"

1 Departing now, Jesus was on his way from the temple, but his disciples approached to show him the buildings of the temple. 2 In response he said to them: “Do YOU not behold all these things? Truly I say to YOU, By no means will a stone be left here upon a stone and not be thrown down.”
3 While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
4 And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.

Good question and it wont be long. WE can all see the evidence of this being the last days right now, already. God gives us so many things to look for, warnings, all of it, and few even care , let alone listen or obey. But, Jesus is coming back soon, to take His true ppl home, and we need to choose Jesus before we die or He comes again, cuz then its too late. All we can do is pray for the lost, stay with jesus, living in the truth and knowledge of Him, and that if we staying abiding in Him, (trusting, loving, obeying), that He will get us thru whatever brings in these last days, and take us on to the victory He has promised. Come soon Lord Jesus.
We arent to worry whats coming, as we will be protected. But, just to keep living as God says, and loving others and praying for them, and patiently awaing His soon return, knowing we will be with Him Salvation is assured for Gods truly obedient ppl. We cant obey God if we dont know all He says > That means serious Bible study and prayer.. not just to read the Bible, but to study it and to check all things against it for truth. If it cant be proven Biblically, it is false and we are to flee it. Press on dear child of God. Read PS 91 and see about abiding in Him. YUMM> such love, joy and incredible peace, in the Lord Jesus Christ. No other way to go. Hunger for Him, thrist for Him, and hold on to all He has given to you.
He is coming soon. Hold on to the prize in which He has given to you. Let noone or nothing take it away. God bless you child. of God....
