I mean the face mask where you crush up some aspirins, add water, and use as a face mask... I find it's really good for exfoliating/smooth skin... just wondering if it's safe to do it this often

Not really, it can cause more harm than benefit on a long run.

I think the reason this works is because of the salicylic acid in aspirin (that's the same as beta hydroxy acids or bha). most bha products can be used everyday, but the peels, which are stronger should be used less often. You could check out some salicylic masks and peels at the drugstore and see how often you use them. My peel says twice a week.

Just slow down if you find them irritating

PS THANKS for the idea, I never would have thought of that and had never heard of it. God willing, I will try a white willow bark mask as an "all natural alternative" (it's actually the herbal source that inspired the pharmaceutical company to synthesize aspirin)

i do it twice a month and it really helps. it feels so smooth when touch skin after an aspirin facial. actually this salon round the corner is doing it too.

I hear its preety good to.But thats too much.Try 1-2 times a week in the shower for better results.
