I've been talking to a guy for about six weeks. We have been out 2 times. We talk every other day. I usually let him call me. Sometime when we get off the phone, he says he'll call me righ back, but usually it will be the day after the next and he usually sounds happy to hear from me.

He probably calls back like a day after becasue he doesn't want you to think he's desperate. If he sounds happy to hear form you then he might be interested. It depends on what he's like on the phone and what he's like in person. Two different things. If it's the same thing and he still sounds interested in you then he does have some interest in you. I say he is interested. You should give him a chance. Or you could try asking him what he has in mind with your friendship, or more than that. It wouldn't hurt to just ask. Most people are too nervous, but it's pretty much the best thing to do.
