so there's this guy on my track team that i like but he has also been romantically involved with a friend of mine in the past. they never went out but more of just "messed around"...no sex. i was talking to him last night and he wanted to talk to me about the whole thing with my friend. he told me his feelings for her...which were none. he said he feels so bad for her liking him for so long that he decided to give her a chance. but he's finding that she's really clingy. we talked for about 2 hours about everything...our lives, our relaionships...i told him i like him and he says he likes me too but he's not nto the whole bf/gf thing but he still wants to do thing bf/gf's do: hang out and talk about our issues. i'm really confused about the whole thing.
comments? advice?

Your confused about the situation because he is talking out of his A.S.S...so he doesn't want a relationship but he wants to do things that people in relationships do...DON'T FALL FOR IT...he gave you is answer right there...he doesn't want a relationship...observe the way he is acting with your friend because he is going to do the same thing with you...the key word is clingy...you seem to have the appearance of being clingy as well...just talk to him, continue to be friends with him...BUT PLEASE DO NOT FALL INTO HIS TRAP...he is telling you what he wants but sometimes we as women just don't want to see the signs

Just be friends with him, don't be involved with him sexually though, you will be hurt if you do, he does not want be tied up with one person.
