You can find Bibles in many places. Even your local walmart carries them. You need to figure out what translation that you want first. NLT (New Living Translation) is a great one for new Christians or those that just don't know that much about the Bible. NIV (New International Version) is a good one, but some people say that it isn't the most accurate that there is; however, it is fairly easy to read. NRSV (New Revised Standard Version) is a great one for study purposes.

The flimsy pages are going to be pretty standard because Bibles are thousands of pages long; therefore, it would be too thick if the pages were a normal thickness. If your avatar is correct, then you are female. A great one for young girls is the True Images Bible. I've heard WONDERFUL things about that one.

Lifeway Christian stores (online at lifeway.com) has good prices. However, just to let you know, this is a store that is supported by the Baptist church and the money goes to that denomination. If that is a church you don't really agree with, you may think twice about giving your money to them. Cokesbury.com is another one that is good -- supported by the United Methodist Church. Walmart.com does carry some Bibles as well. Hope this helps.

you should go to your church they should be giving them out free which is the way they should be. Most major churches carry a line of fancier bibles for sale. Some of htem are like gift items and such but they do have better looking ones with better bindings and concordances. It also gives you a chance to donate money to your church. If your church doesnt carry these types of bibles you might ask where you can go to get them. They can refer you to the proper places.

I would recommend either the NASB or NLT. They are excellently done translations.
