and how they work? i mean, how are related to user tasks like sending a task to the printer's spooler

MFC was a set of C++ classes that came out with windows 95. It is a set of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that allowed a software developer to interact with the windows operating system to do things like create and manage windows.

The technology was later wrapped as DCOM modules and has now evolved into the .NET framework.
