Simple, be funny, cool and smell good. Girls absolutley love a funny guy. I dont want to come across as arogant, but I have been with some fine girls and my recent girl is a stunner (not a bimbo, she's intelligent and a good level headed woman)
You dont just ask a girl straight out, you need to get to know a girl in a non drunk situation, have a laugh and a good conversation then just gradually state you would like to go out somewhere with her. find something in common and base the day out around that

The most effective strait up ask. There other way to get a girl to spend time with on the no date date but these are to advance kiss( keep it simple stupid) method always works best.

Well if things are going right, your making her laugh etc then just come outright with it 'will you go out with me' but that can have two meanings such as (boyfriend and girlfriend) and also actually go out like to a place. Be careful how you say it though

just have to be straight forward, "you want to go (fill in the blank) with me sometime?" it's takes 5 seconds to say and the answer will be quick to.

well i assume you are talking to her. if you are maybe start a conversation... and then ask her if she likes anyone... and then if she says "yes" then say "who" and if she says you, then there you go. but if you guys are already talking and you know she likes you, maybe bring it up in a conversation, but be careful on how you say it.
