My Min Pin/Chi mix would do that plus try to bite.... I learned from a very smart vet that if I held my dog's head and scratched him real hard (he likes having his head scratched) the whole time it would distract him enough that he wouldn't bite or scream though it still takes another person to hold his hind end for the shot.

Min Pins can be quite tempermental when they want to be even if they're not being hurt they can scream with the best of them... a resource of other Min Pin owners. It's free.....

Not unusual for dogs to be scared, to help get her more comfortable at the vets take her for trips there just to say hello to the staff and maybe a weighing and have the staff give her some treats, this way she learns that it can be a good place to go and does not alway have to end in pain, the more good experiences she has the more she will relax when there, also take her for some obedience classes, so she gets more exposure to going to strange places, one of the commands will include a stand and stay which you can practice on a table(being made to stand on a table is often very scary for dogs, so practice on the ground first before starting on a table) in a home setting and have people touch and handle her when she is in the stand/stay position, and this command can then be used during vet exams and vaccinations

Oh please the vet hasn't seen this before? Either he just graduated or all of the other dogs are so well behaved (yeah, right) or the dogs are so drugged up, they are lethargic to the pinch pain of the shots. My chihuahuas are more than a handful each at shot time, squealing, screaming, and shaking. Please when we come in, the vet asks to have for few other appointments at the time. because it puts some of the other dogs into anxiety attacks and hard to handle because of the noise.

Some dogs (and cats) just like to make a fuss. My dog does not do this, but I work at a vet clinic and have seen animals who react that way to their shots. Try to make the experience as positive as possible when you are at the vets. Give her cookies and praise her for being brave. Do not give her attention when she is being scared because this will encourage timid, shy behaviour.

It just could be that she knows how bad she is going to feel after the shots.
Actually, other than Rabies that is manadated by law, the shots are not needed. See the Unitersity of Wisconsin weblink

My 2year old boy min pin is like that too. I have tried soo many things and i found one thing that helps but it may not help with your pup. I give him his favorite treat either it is peanutbutter or cheese this has been helping lately!!!
Good Luck
