He sends her all different kinds of text messages about how is going to come over or they should hang out again sometime. Also he still always talks about there old relationship and would there ever be a futture again. It starts to make me mad and jealous, but i talk to her about it and tell her that it's not fair cuz i stopped talking to old girlfriends to make her happy, then she gets all mad at me and says it's not the same. I don't know what to do i really care about her but she thinks i am trying to control her life by asking her not to talk to these other guys that flirt with her all the time.

Well, can I just tell you that this is a DEFINITE NO-NO. You need to tell her how you feel in a loving way. Let her know that this bothers you, her talking to her ex-boyfriend and if she doesn't respect your wishes, she is no good anyway. I have never understood the whole thing, hanging onto to your ex's. They are ex's for a reason. There are just some extremely insecure people out there who have to hang on because they don't want to feel like they are alone after a break-up.
Don't listen to her crap about "it's not the same" because it is. It bothers you, and that's all that matters. If she truly cares, she will stop conversing with this guy. He probably still wants to be with her (or knock off a piece) most likely anyway. Tell her to get rid of him or you're out the door!!
I would NEVER tolerate that nonsense!!!

You should have settled that before you entered into a relationship. Now, you're stuck with her baggage.
In the future, before you make a commitment to someone you need to express your expectations. You need to discuss what kind of behaviour is acceptable and respectable; and get on the same page.
You can try to do that now, but she sounds childish and probalby won't go for it.

First of all, why would she even tell you about it? i have exes that call me and say stupid things like that all the time, but i dont respond to them and i certainly dont tell my boyfriend about them, is she trying to make you jealous? could she be insecure? you need to be more assertive and lay down the law, if this really bothers you, tell her you will not tolerate it any longer, if she cares for you she will stop

this comes to trust. if shes with you then shes with you. you know that she talk to him so its like she not hiding anything. but if she cant respect how you feel then you need to let her know. i stop talking to my ex for you so you do the same. im mean it should be an even trade. yes she in the wrong.

well for one.. she knows exactly what she's doing... i have some creepy ex's that still call and text... and what do i do... IGNORE THEM!! i dont want them in my life anymore... and i would not want to hurt my boyfriend in any way. i say tell her how you feel and if she has any kind of a problem with it... dump her and find a girl who will treat you right.
