When they did this at my son's school most of the boy's dressed up as Beckham or some other footballer - the book being a football annual ..... well they say as long as they're reading it doesn't matter what!

my lil brother dressed up as gandalf the white for his book day, me an my mum made a white cloak from an old sheet and a rope, made a beard and wig out of a white mop head (new one obviously!) we stiched it on to a swimming cap for hair and elastic for the beard and we covered a stick that had a fork in the top in silver foil and put a tennis ball in the fork, he looked fantastic! and no one else looked like him!
