Hello. I am an 18 year old college student living in Mn. I just broke up with my girlfriend. She had knee surgery last tuesday, i was there at the hospital with her the whole day, and was there for her after her surgery. She requested that I be there. And I also have spent over $500 on her, in our 5 days of dating. The reason it was so short is because she was cheating on me with one of my buddies. Is there any true girlfriends out there. I am so sorry that you got cheated on. Here's a tip though for when you start dating again, don't spend that kind of money on a girl within 5 days. You are still young and you will meet the right person. What goes around, comes around and your ex will get whats coming to her. I wish you the best of luck finding someone who will treat you right.

First of all no matter how strong your feelings about a girl are you never spend that much money on her or do stuff that you would do for other people... Even if she likes you a lot she will play with you as much as she can until she gets bored... Girls don't like guys that would do everything for them as I would not like a girl that would do anything that Id like her to do... Sometimes you have to say no have the person next you ask you for what they want... Don't get me wrong women are the best thing that can happen in a mens life but you have to know how to make them need you...
Never forget that for the age that you are there are a lot of girls out there :)

Girls like that are not worth it. Its good that you are planning to move on and not get stuck on her. You don't want to hurt her but forget about her. I bet now she realized what she had, you sound like a good guy. Good luck on the search for a girlfriend. Don't forget that things happen for a reason, let it be experience to you.
