Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

As a Physician Assistant I suggest that you don't put tooth paste on your face. It can cause skin irritation and worse break out. You need to see a dermatologist if you are concerned about acne. The fluoride in tooth paste will and can cause swelling and burning causing more damage to skin that is broke out. Your acne is moistly caused by your stomach. If you eat foods that cause extra acid in your stomach it can spill out into other parts of absorption.

Any toothpaste will work, you just want to use the paste kind, not the gel. All it basically does is dries up the oil, don't do it too much though.
