HELP!! i'm applying for a scholarship and put software engineering as my top priority but i couldn't answer the reasons for majoring in it...

dude, what do you know about software engineering? first try to understand what software engineering is about. The best book in my opinion is 'Software Engineering: A Practitioner’s Approach'
