We are taking a break because of my parents, (18) but he told me that he would wait for me as long as i need...but not to take too long. He also said this ..."What if i go out with somebody and then u tell me that u r ready already, and i dump her because i really love you, would u take me?" I just stayed quiet but I don't know if i would do that.. I would't want the other girl to get hurt but I would want him back..and i know he would leave her...Waht should I do???

Chances are the reasons your parents don't like him are true. You're so young and there are so many other 'fish in the sea'. Why would you want to pursue something that doesn't look like it has a future. Family is the most important and they only care about you and want what is best for you. It kinda sounds like you're too good for this boy. Anyway, you're too young to be worrying about boys...so take your free time and have fun, don't get tied down, and just enjoy life! Sorry if you think I have no idea what I'm talking about:)

This is a tough situation. The thing I dont understand is, is if he loves you so much that he would leave another girl for you, why doesnt he love you enough to wait it out for you? If you are truly in love with somebody, you will wait as long as it takes to be happy with that person again. Not saying that he doesnt love you as much as he says he does, he could be petrified of being alone, and therefore needs to fill the void of you not being there. But all and all, if I were you I wouldnt put up with that. You should tell him, that if he truly loved you, he would wait as long as necessary and not date other girls.

Alright, if you are talking about taking a break with your boyfriend than it must not be the right time for you guys. Just take the break and then you need to just go with the flow. If he is right for you he will come back, if he isn't then both of you will move on. That is what dating is all about finding the right person at the right time.

uh i wouldnt want him dating sumone else, he might develop stronger feelings for that other person, u never know what could happen even if ur sure that it wouldnt happen, it still could, why cant u just go out with him? why dont ur parents let u date? anyways, ummm if he finds another girl he might fall for her, so its ur choice to take that risk.
u might as well find sumone else, or try to be able to date this one.
