I agree it's very serious....as someone with no expertise in this area.....maybe they can airlift them to a place where it stays colder longer. The place would of course have to have a food source.

It's something I hope scientists are thinking about. It would be so awful if we no longer had polar bears because we let them drown.

Nothing.
When a species is added to the Endangered Species List, it has to be accompanied by a plan to repopulate the species. When the White House asked the EPA to add the Polar Bear onto the list of endangered species, the proposed cause would be Global Warming. Unfortunately, the EPA will not take action to address the cause of the Polar Bear endangerment because the EPA claims that it does not have the powers granted by government to address climate change.
Therefore, the listing on the ESA will likely be little more than a death warrant.

Kissinger said in 1998 in a Bilderberg meeting in Kopenhagen ,that their Agenda required the world population to go down by 70%
this is the mentality of the elite who control the planet ,the polar bears are not important except to those who care about them.

What do you think they should do? Right to your politicians start a petition and get he ball rolling.

I think by law everyone should have to recycle ALL plastics, paper products, glass, metal and compost. People should be given incentive to be more environmentally friendly. Incandescent light bulbs should be banned and houses, streets and businesses should be lite withe fluorescent bulbs. Cars should be made to run on Bio-diesel. Governments and Big Business have to go green. We as the people of this planet should demand it. It's time we take a stand to preserve our world improve it and protect it for our children.

There have been thousands of species that have become extinct, even before man. Life forms come and go without our influence.
