At the end La Rambla near a town hall i think you pick up an open top bus which is 18euros approx. This bus takes you on a tour and you can hop on and off where you want. We did the Gothic quarter which was lovely, and had i been with a man this would have been quite romantic.
Olympic village for a meal
and i do remember a boat that was a restaurant and a bar open and lovely at the other end or las rambla situated in the harbour
The answer above me pretty much says it!!

Take a walk along La's Rambles (I think that's how you spell it) on a Sunday morning. It is a great place to see the locals at ease. The side streets also offer lots of shopping, and places to eat that the locals use, and will be cheaper than the tourist places on the main drag. There is also the main park, and the fantasy Cathedral and other buildings by the same architect. If you venture down to the newly re-vamped area by the sea is a place of striking modern architecture.

There are too many things to do in only one weekend. If she likes art go to Picasso, and Dali museums. Take in Guell park. There is a bus you can take that lets you get off and on anytime, so you can roam the sites for a day or two.

Hi,
At ALL COSTS, don't miss the Font Magica, after 9 pm one evening... take a bottle of wine, and just hang out watching this great free light and music show in the fountains.
It's at Plaza Espana metro...
Bon Weekend
Philip

Just meander up and down the main drag (La Rambla). There is enough to interest anyone as it has more of everything you want than anywhere in Europe.

The sagrada de familia is amazing (and it's not even finished yet). Also, Guadi's Park and house are fantastic. (Park Guell, Gaudi's house is within it)
