I spend a lot of time in the US (about 3 month a year), but I'm not a resident. I have two addresses that I can use, and did for years. I have an Social Security card ( not valid for work) but tried to open bank account and make a driving license but hit the wall. I would love to spend even more time legally in the US, that's why I care about my reputation. thanks

Hi Lucas,
You ask a good question but you asked the wrong question.
First credit lines and credit scores are bogus. Wise people don't care about them BECAUSE wise people don't borrow money! Wise people learn to live on less than they make,
save money for an emergency fund, pay off all credit cards and destroy them. Save up more money to invest. Investing means you will not touch that money for at least 5 years. Ten or twenty years are even better. Investing in no-load mutual funds is wise because you get diversifacation at very low cost. Picking good mutual funds is easy if you use Yahoo Finance Mutual funds and learn about morningstar
ratings. If you have plenty of cash who cares about a credit line or a credit score. For more info see www.daveramsey

Bank of America is giving credit cards to illegal aliens. I would think they would be a good place to start.

i would suggest contacting the u.s. state dept. to ask about ways to spend more legal time in this country...if that doesnt suit you, then you can go to the bank of america, as they are now giving credit cards to illegals...
