true christians do not war, not hate their neighbours, love their enemies and love God with whole mind and soul and obey his commands.
Many churches have memorials of war, involved in national politics and have less than holy histories.
The fruit is what religions actually do.

Rotten fruit.
False religions yield false prophecies. Misguiding people and diverting them away for the truth about Jesus and God. They produce false doctrines.

I dunno about that - for years my Granny had a old peach tree in her back yard the trunk of which was rotted and crumbly - yet every year, it produced a whopping big crop of peaches, which Granny would put up in dozens and dozens of quart jars and us grandkids'd have peach preserves on our bread nearly every day all winter long. She'd peddle a bunch of 'em down at the church bazaar every autumn and give a bunch more to the old folks' home and even several to the VFW when they'd have their big midwinter bash...Granny's gone now, but dozens and dozens of us kids remember her peach preserves with fondness - and we sure ain't rotten! ...well, maybe sometimes some of us act like stinkers, but it ain't due to Granny's preserves off her rotten peach tree.

He probably didn't realise that people would use this against the bible. Don't worry, they will correct the 'misprint' in the next version.
