Why does my 65 year old male supervisor obsess himself as to why Joan and I are friends? Joan and I are both women and we have a lot to talk about. It is nobody's business. He gets his
secretary to spy on Joan and I. Now the secretary, says she feels like nothing for doing all that.

I know I should file a compliant. What is your take?

I think you're being overly sensative. Has he said anything DIRECTLY to either one of you? Either way, if you've addressed the issue, blow him off. If not, and you're not doing something against company polcy or breaking the law in some way, don't worry about it. Sometimes that's easier said than done. Let it "ride" one more time. If it continues to bother you, have a closed door meeting with all persons involved and ventilate how you feel. Good luck!

It sounds like there's not much work to do in your office. Your supervisor must be in your business because he has none of his own. Why not just tell him to mind his own business, or at least come out and ask you his questions rather than have someone spy on you.

He sounds like a neurotic. If you complain alone, he will just try to make you look like a paranoid or a fool, then the others won't speak up for you. If you all 3 complain together, there will be nothing he can do to twist it back on you.

The only logical reason your supervisor would have to be interested in your friendship with your co-worker would be if he feels that your visiting is interfering with your work. Otherwise, that's just kind of creepy.

Everyone knows that men fantasize two women making out and being gay. This guy probably fantasizes about you and your friend!!! You should file a complaint right away.

Very odd question. "She feels like nothing for doing all that" -- exactly what??

Try rephrasing your question.

Maybe he is jealous of your close friendship.
