It could be due to water retention. a build up of fluid. You can get water retention tablets do reduce the swelling, but I would advise seeking doctors advice as could also be related to other problems such as thrombosis. But most common is fluid retention.

If you might have too much salt in your system. I would drink alot of water and see if that works. Then if not, go to a doctor.

I think beacuse you walk to much, or your have a medical promblem and need to go to the doctor for help.

to much salt but if you do not eat alot of salty foods you should see a Dr.especially if they do not go down at night you could have a stroke.
