Ask your doc for something stronger, i.e., vicodin which is also called Norco, Lortab, etc. BUT if you have a sensitive stomach be careful. Alot of people are allergic to codeine so if you are then ask for something like the patch (Fentynal). I don't know how bad of pain you are in but i have never even heard of the med you are on????????????????? GOOD LUCK

When this happened to me, nothing helps but the stuff they give you at the hospital by IV. Loritab........... AKA vicodin doesn't do anything. I took three of those! The best thing to do is to watch your diet very closely. You can help the pain that way, but, you should have it out, because it could rupture on you and kill you. The doctor told me if I hadn't made it to the ER when I did, I would not have made it. I also do not understand fioricet..........that is for migraines. and a very mild drug at that.

The meds they gave me didnt help either. But luckily I didnt have to wait very long for surgery. If its that bad, then you need to call your doctor and see if they will give you something stronger. Good luck, I know first hand how painful it is.

No one here can help you with pain but a doctor, The only thing you will get here is lip service and it will waste your time. From a bunch of snot nose kids that will tell you what you want to hear for 10 points.

Eating low fat, drinking plenty of water are your best source of pain control for gallstones. They are aggrivated by fatty foods.

Everyones pain tolerance is different...so what worked for others may not work for you. Call your doctor and let him know...and he will give you something stronger.
