Yeah, the Riva FLV Encoder 2 is really great.. I download anime on youtube, google videos, etc., and I convert it to *.mpg using Riva.. But, if you convert *.flv to *.avi, it sometimes have problems when you play it, so I would just recommend on converting it to *.mpg..

Why not try TubeHunter, that's what you really need. It can also download videos from over 20 video sharing webs.

the best program would be Riva FLV Encoder....its free and its really good...it converts FLV files to any other files even MP3 or MPEG or anything else....i personally use this program almost everyday to convert FLV files....its really easy to use....good luck!
