I have been in a relationship for about a year with this girl. We just recently broke up and I am crushed because I really care for her. I have talked to her about this and she says that she still has feelings for me and that she loves me still. She has also said that she just needs to be by herself right now. I have no idea how to go about this because I just want to be with her and try working things out. What should I do?

shes confused because shes not sure if you are the one she wants to be with for the rest of her life, but she doesnt want to close the door on you because than she might wind up alone forever and she definately doesnt want that....i would say that either she doesnt love you, or she is just really scared and confused.....unless you did something wrong to her and she wants you to change before she will go back out with you.

Give this girl some time to think over the situation for now. When she is ready to take the relationship to the next step she will let you know.

Give her some space and just try and stay as humanly as possible away from her. She just needs a break from the relationship so you'll just have to wait until she comes back to you.

If you are questioning if he still cares, then the relationship doesn't sound too promising.

Seperate yourself from her. Dont call her, dont talk to her, dont go to the same places she goes, dont talk to her family or friends.
You will get over it. She is playing head games and you deserve to be treated better.
