Because it is bread, what are you talking about? There is such thing as banana bread and banana cake. Maybe you have not tried the banana bread before? It is really, really good and it is in a loaf, just like bread, the cake has frosting on it.

Two reasons its baked in a loaf pan not a cake pan and its not light like a cake.
