Well you could just skip the religion all together and just concentrate on the Jesus part and on what he said.

Original sin is an addition to Christian thought by St. Augustine. It does not exist in the bible. Many try to twist verses so that they can support this claim - but in reality there is no orignal sin concept throughout the entire bible.

In Islam - you have the problem of the bulk of the NT being about Jesus' supposed resserection from the dead. I always saw it more as picking and chosing what fit in at the time.

At least in Christianity they follow the whole thing.

I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and He shed His own blood for the remission of my sins and raised from the dead for my justification.

I Thank God that I am born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, joint heirs with Jesus, part of the family of God.

Yes, everyone is born from the water bag with the sin nature, the inclination to purposely rebel against God and suffer spiritual death/ blindness. The wages of sin is death. We all die physically. The gift of God is eternal life, through being born of the Spirit.... By one mans sin, all die physically. By one mans righteousness we all can be born of His Spirit, inheriting His Kingdom blessings.

No

If there was an original sin then we were originally created as evil. If we are evil how can we do any good? Either God saves us, constantly, every second of the day, which is inconceivable because then criminals would be free of their crimes and we'd be essentially lifeless bots holding to meaningless beliefs and love would be nonexistence, or that we have a power of our own that we use to do good, which would prove that we are not evil. So no original sin.

Dear Friend,

I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the one true god.

I believe that god performed miracles on the Earth through that one, who died and paid the price for our sins

I believe that God raised him from the dead to newness of life after three days

I believe he now prays at gods right hand for us

I believe that all those exercising faith in Jesus have the hope of everlasting life.

God Bless

Neither- I think Jesus is a conglomerate of people with new ideas all wrapped up in one pretty package and told as a bedtime story to people across the world for centuries and eventually written down in a book.

I refuse to have a conflict with Islam for your amusement. You already know what both religions teach or you could not have asked the question in this way.

I think Jesus was nothing more than a wise one...one of MANY and he died because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It just took a bunch of crazed activists to pread his word and put it in print as the "only" truth.
